The Berekum Footballers Association have expressed their grieved concerns about Berekum Traditional Council for the ongoing project to construct Pavement stones on Berekum Omanhene's Park.
The park which has served as a place of playgrounds for the youth in Berekum.
According to the leaders of the association, Mr Gorden Amankona Arthur, He said most the of the Footballers who hails from Berekum started their training and football skills from the Omanhene's Park in Berekum.
Players who started their footballing carrier on the said ground are Black Stars player Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, John Paintil, Berekum Chelsea's Striker and the Golden Boat holder in the just ended WAFU Tournament, Stephen Sarfo, Daniel Opare omong others
.
The youth are threatening a massive demonstration against the Chiefs if they continue to turned the park into pavement grounds.
On the other side people are suggesting that the Pavement Project will generate income for Berekum .
